THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS IS A PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION FROM UK WHICH IS RECOGNISED INTERNATIONALLY AND IN MALAYSIA AS EQUAL TO A DEGREE AND is accepted as entrance requirement for a Masters Degree. Further with relevant working experience, the following recognition is accorded to CIMA members:

1. ACMA : Chartered Management Accountant (UK)

2. CGMA: Chartered Global Management Accountant (UK & US)

3. CA: Chartered Accountant (Malaysia)

4. CPA: Certified Public Accountant (Australia) - by Mutual Recognition

Many University graduates around the world pursue CIMA and many universities collaborate with CIMA for exemptions and development of their syllabus.
