Students will be assessed on the same material and must demonstrate the same level of competency and experience to earn the CGMA designation and CIMA membership.

OPERATIONAL LEVEL (DIPLOMA)

On successful completion of all the modules of the Operational Level below, you will earn the CIMA® Diploma in Management Accounting.

The Management Level focuses on translating long-term decisions into medium-term plans. On successful completion of all the modules of the Management Level below, you will earn the CIMA® Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting.

STRATEGIC LEVEL (ACMA & CGMA membership*)

The Strategic Level focuses on long-term strategic decision-making. Candidates can support organisational leaders to craft strategy; evaluate and manage risks that might prevent organisations from successfully implementing strategy; value organisations; and source financial resources required to implement strategy.

This subject focuses on the following competency areas:

• Strategic Management

• Risk Management

• Financial Strategy

 

* Three years of relevant experience required upon completion which also entitles one to be a Chartered 

    Accountant of Malaysia - CA(M) upon application.
